Legend is a fanciful narrative transmitted by oral tradition through the ages.
Fantastic and / or fictional, legends combine real and historical facts with unrealistic facts that are merely the product of human imagination.
With well-defined examples in every country of the world, legends often provide plausible, and to some extent acceptable, explanations for things that have no proven scientific explanations, such as mysterious or supernatural events.
We can understand that Legend is a degeneration of Myth. As the popular saying "Who tells a story increases a point", legends, because they are passed on orally from generation to generation, change as they are retold.
